Landed dream job

I just accepted a new job offer. The job is as solution architect in a consultant company.

I had to choose between a freelance opportunity and this job. The freelance was, of course, better paid, but this was pretty OK too. The pay was adequate to good -- only time can tell how good.
More importantly, the job content was closer to the things I have evolved into doing and liking to do. It should let me use all my skill palette instead of just a few skills.
In the long run the founder seemed like a good guy to explore opportunities with, and that could be the most important of all, I need good sparring and a place to air my ideas for venture.

I am pitching an iPhone app, pursuing my dream of having my own company. A superb tech from an outsourcer I use recommended me the mockapp.com powerpresentation templates for making quick demos, or even a mockup. Playing around with it right now, but it looks nice and a very nice free contribution.
The mockapp concept is that of tweetware, you have to tweet, blog, or email 3 friends about it, if you use it. That is a pretty smart marketing concept, and hereby done. Actually it's probably "just" a commons attribution license, but tweetapp is more hypeable  I guess.

Buy a share in a ship?

Bying a share in a ship is under investigation. I am getting prices and finding places where such things happen, see the thread on cruisers forum.
In a danish magazine for cruisers, I stumbled upon a share for sale in Grappen.dk. Tempting. Interesting, thought provoking - how serious is this dream, how would it fit with the rest of the dreams pursued...

Dream or whim: GPS and Camera

I don't just have grande Dreams.  A dream/whim of mine is to have a nicely geo-tagged photo album, partly because it's a nice way to organize photos, partly because I would like to contribute back to the WWW community by getting the good ones linked to google maps. e.g:

Just a few days ago I had the exciting opportunity to get a trial trip, offered by dankat - thanks a lot Anders, on the brand new Fountaine Pajot, Lipari 41. It's so brand new that it is still the only one in the world, and the tours in Denmark were world premiers.
